Hello, sweet friends I have no idea where April went. But its showers are still in full force. I am ready for some sunshine and Friday Favorites May Delights.
Pattern Play
This charming home is full of beautiful wallpaper, terrific textures and stunning fabrics.
Rock On
I have added Leonardslee Rock Garden, in Sussex, England to my must see list. The 240 acres of private gardens, woodlands and lakes was designed in 1890 and is truly beautiful.
DIY Basket Light
I am ready for a new light fixture in the laundry room and love this sweet and simple design.
Always In Style
Living in an older home I am surrounded by charming details. This article showcases 10 Old-House Features That Deserve a Comeback.
How to Make Lavender Soap
I have some lovely houseguests arriving on Wednesday and I am wondering if there is time to make up some lovely lavender scented soaps.
CharCUPeries
My guests are arriving in time for lunch and I think I will offer a springtime soup and a fun vintage tea cup filled with a colorful mix of meats, cheeses, fruits.
Upcoming Adventures
I am very excited to announce that the Little House 50th Costume Collection will be at the Little House on the Prairie Cast Reunion in California Gold Country.
Then I will be headed to the Jane Austen Festival to present two workshops. You can learn more HERE.
This will be followed with a lecture on Fashion in 1880’s DeSmet at LauraPalooza. The conference will be held July 8th-11th 2025, and organized by the Laura Ingalls Wilder Legacy and Research Association.
At the Jane Austen Festival and LauraPalooza I will have hand-crafted treasures available for sale.
Given that I have just one month to prepare for these three fabulous events I am going to have to put the DTA on the back burner. But I will be posting from time to time on Instagram.
Have a gorgeous weekend,
Laura
