Hello sweet friends, I hope you all are well. This past week has left many of us so heartbroken. Mr. Decor and I have ties to Asheville, NC. We can barely comprehend the destruction that happened there as well as the many other areas. Our hearts go out to all who have lost much. I hesitated when writing this post. Sharing decor and craft ideas seems so…trivial at times such as these. But I know that when I have faced great obstacles sometimes when I took a break to read a pretty paragraph it helped me get through that minute, that hour, that day. As a family we are thinking of you, lifting you up in prayer, and contributing to humanitarian efforts. May this post, Friday Favorites Stepping Stones, bring you some much-needed comfort.

A gentle hero has immerged this past week in the form of a pack mule. These amazing creatures have been bringing much needed supplies such as insulin and baby formula to areas where traditional vehicles cannot reach. You can learn more about these wonderful mules, as well as how to donate HERE.

A lovely uplifting and positive post to bring peace to a soul.
Our niece lives in Taiwan where they had a large storm blow through and cause a lot of destruction and deaths this week as well. I received her positive message this morning, that although there was a lot of damage they were still finding lovely things to enjoy and were able today to celebrate her son’s birthday. Bringing peace will always be helpful in its own way and creates something to look forward to as people recover, restore and rebuild.
Wishing you a peaceful and happy weekend.
