We need spring in our lives. After a long winter of waiting spring returns full of hope. I just returned home from a quick trip to Arkansas with my long time friend Kelly. We have been planning a visit to P. Allen Smith’s home, Moss Mountain Farm, for a good long time. The pandemic and other roadblocks had put the visit on hold but her upcoming move to Washington made it a priority. Even my garden wall completely crumbling couldn’t stop me. The quick jaunt left me feeling revived and Sunday Smiles Refreshed.
Sunday Smiles Refreshed
I’ll be sharing images/video of my trip very soon. If you are in need of lovely garden inspiration this post is for you.
Soothing Office
I write all my posts, as well as edit photos and video, at my kitchen table. It’s not ideal. Because it’s in the kitchen with the food and beeping microwave. It’s also right next to the man cave where the very loud tv lives. I’m working on a plan to carve out a place of peace. This recent office reveal left me so inspired.
Paper Shamrocks
I adore St. Patrick’s Day. You can do as much or as little as you like. I wear green. It’s my favorite color after all. I always cook corned beef and cabbage. The table is generally set with some shamrock inspired decor. This cute craft looks so fun and makes a darling centerpiece.
A Cozy Cottage
If you love cozy living with lush layers then you’ll love Kate Stamps 1904 cottage.
Upcoming on DTA
This week I’ll be sharing P. Allen Smith’s gorgeous home, Moss Mountain Farm. If you adore daffodils and baby lambs you’ll love this upcoming post and video.
The wearing of the green is now approaching it’s 6th year. This year’s garment has been on my must make list for a long time. It’s inspired by The Quiet Man, one of my all time favorite movies to watch on St. Patrick’s Day.
Did You Miss The Spring Home Tour?
This past Tuesday I shared Storybook Cottage all decked out in springtime bliss.
Happy Sunday,

I love P. Allen Smith’s show and am looking forward to your post. It sounds like a terrific trip and one that was sorely needed after your trying recent weeks. Big hugs.

Oh, I’m so looking forward to your visit to Moss Mountain! I follow P Allen Smith and just this morning watched an archive video of his many daffodils. Thank you for your Sunday Smiles. Have a great week. We are cold again, and I’m having to cover peonies which grew with the early spring temps we’d been having. This week gets down in the lows 20s several mornings in the forecast!
