Sunday Smiles A Joyful Spring

Hello sweet friends! This past week I worked on cleaning out some closets. Saturday was gorgeous! So my two kids hosted a garage sale of everything I cleared out. They both have upcoming trips and now have some pocket money. It was a win-win for everyone truly worthy of Sunday Smiles A Joyful Spring.

I need to create a wreath for an upcoming garden party. This one is truly lovely.

How Does Your Garden Grow

I’ve been transforming our backyard into the Texas version of an English garden. This article on growing cut flowers was fabulous.

This sweet project delighted my heart. I don’t embroider but appreciated the clever needlework.

Kindness Counts

It costs very little to be kind. But it gives both parties SO MUCH! I loved the comment section of this article. People wrote about small acts of kindness that occurred years ago yet they still remember.

On this Palm Sunday, I would love for you to share an act of kindness that you did or benefitted from in the comments.

I’ll be back on Tuesday with a spring craft.

Your Easter table looks lovely, Laura.
I have to share this act of kindness with you because it blew me away to read about it today. A lady from our Neighborhood site saw a man sobbing at his car and went to ask him what was wrong. He said his wife was in the Petco with their cat who had licked at some antifreeze and had to be euthanized. They had been living in their car as they both recently lost their jobs but had job interviews this week. His wife soon came out carrying a box with the cat in it, in tears. The lady said she would bury the cat in her backyard with her other deceased pets if they wanted, and they agreed. Then the lady took them to a nice motel and paid for a week’s lodging to give them a break and deal with their grief and relax before their job interviews. Talk about going the extra mile! While not everyone could afford to help someone to this extent, this was so heartwarming to read! There are so many good people who care!
Have a wonderful week and a Blessed Easter!
