Several years ago I began the tradition of The Giving Ornament. Twenty-five limited-edition ornaments are made and a charity (or two) is selected to receive a portion of the profits.
Last year being what it was I did not make any ornaments and so many people were disappointed. I didn’t think I would create any this year either as they are indeed true labors of love. Then my friend Meri came for a visit and gifted me 25 vintage tart tins. Well, when life gives ya tart tins you make ornaments.
This years designs include Sugarplum Fairies.
As well as winking Santa’s.
I have selected Toys For Tots and Wreaths Across America as this year’s charity recipients. This is in honor of the thirteen soldiers who gave their lives in the evacuation efforts in Afghanistan earlier this year.
When checking out your cart can leave a message with your charity choice of the two listed.
You can find the ornaments in the SHOP tab under the header or by simply clicking HERE.
I will be adding other handcrafted delights to the shop in the upcoming days and weeks.
If you are a Veteran, THANK YOU!

These are all beautiful. I didn’t know you had a shop, Laura! I’ll have to check it out! What a lovely and generous thing to do.
