Hello dear friends! I hope the sun is shining and the birds are singing where you live. Today let us enjoy Sunday Smiles Spring Delights.
The Great Outdoors
I’ve been working out in the gardens of Storybook Cottage for the past two weeks. I love 8 Ways To Pep Up Your Outdoor Space.
A Lovely Feed
I recently began following Jasmina Bylund on Instagram. Her images have the power to take me to a lovely, peaceful place.
Charm Abounds
A Victorian Colonial Revival is the setting for a charming family home that blends modern touches with historical charm.
The entry table reminds me of the Rose Tarlow “Nantucket Table” that I drew for a design class project years ago. Sigh. I LOVED that table and I adore this one as well. Any idea who makes it?
Jarcuterie
As you may know, I am a big fan of charcuterie boards. (This one was my favorite.) But in this day and age individual servings are a smart way to stay healthy. I absolutely adore these Jarcuterie jars.
Ruffles
My friend Dixie recently recreated this beautiful 1815 wedding dress. You must see the ruffle detail on the back.
Farewell
Like many of you, yesterday I watched the procession and funeral of Prince Philip, the Duke of Edinburgh, royal consort to Queen. My heart just broke for Her Majesty. You can find complete coverage of the service HERE.
An excellent post, full of lovely details, can be read HERE.
I adore this image shared by the Queen earlier this week. The informal photo was taken by the Queen’s daughter-in-law Sophie, Countess Of Wessex. A picture truly can speak 1000 words. My heart goes out to the Queen who will celebrate her 95th birthday this Wednesday.
May you have a lovely week.

I love that entry table! I had not heard of Jarcuterie jars. What a neat and cute idea.
Thanks especially for the link to Prince Philip’s funeral. I had not watched it, and this held just the kind of detail I was interested in.

I love that photo of the Queen and Prince Philip, too. Such smiles. She was breaking my heart on Saturday. The crocheted carriage is darling — and thanks for the link — I hadn’t seen that one.
Those little charcuteries give me a great idea for all my old Bonne Maman jars I keep saving. for when we finally have Cork Poppers. We are thinking an outdoor event, sitting far apart with appetizers instead of dinner (and a couple individual desserts) . This would be a fun one to do. I might have to overdose on jam in the next two months, though!

I really enjoyed that image of the Queen and Prince shared this past week, too.
Lovely images to look at in this post!
Happy new week to you.
