Welcome to Spring At Storybook Cottage. The idea for this wonderful tour is hosted by my dear friend Marty of A Stroll Thru Life. If you are visiting from Hymns and Verses let me say, “Welcome to Storybook Cottage!” Wasn’t Doreen’s spring home fabulous?
Spring Dining Room
This year’s spring home tour dining table decor is doing double duty as my St. Patrick’s Day tablescape.
Natural-looking elements such as the burlap cloth were mixed with rustic antique confit pots.
Bright green goblets sparkle in the sunshine.
Mercury votive holders and vintage silverplate create additional glimmer.
Aren’t these Shamrock Hydrangeas fun?
The elements are repeated over on the sideboard.
Spring Home Tour
The spring mantel is dressed very simply this year in soft shades of cream and green.
Gracie the doxie always adds a touch of classic black and white.
White wine spritzers are so refreshing in the springtime!
Touches of spring featuring birds and nests are featured around the room.
Last month I gave a Zoom presentation to college students on Victorian Botany. This was the backdrop.
You can see additional botanical-inspired images HERE.
Over in the entry, a similar soft cream and green theme continues.
It was created for a Pinterest Challenge shared HERE.
Kitchen
It’s hard to believe that Easter is now less than a month away.
I enjoy classic decor elements for this treasured holiday.
It’s easy to see my love of color!
My grandmother’s vintage linens work beautifully for the season.
Vintage touches delight the heart.
The small kitchen shelf area also features a pop of color.
A sweet tweet indeed!
I hope you have enjoyed this year’s spring tour. Past tours can be found HERE.
May spring arrive happily on your doorstep.
Laura
Up next on the tour is White Arrows Home. You will love Kristin’s spring touches.
