Hello sweet friends! It’s been far too long since we’ve had a “Smile”. Mr. Decor and I had to make the hard decision that after 15 years the brick and mortar Decor To Adore design company needed to close. It was primarily due to the current situation. BUT the website will continue! Right now it is my only source of income and I am SO grateful for each and every person who reads it! With that door literally closing I started looking for an open window. You may have noticed that there are two new elements on Decor To Adore. I have a new advertising company which is going very well. Excitingly I am also attempting to master video editing. I hope to bring you some lovely interactive decorating videos on my YouTube channel. It is a steep learning curve but I think my efforts are improving. So here’s to Sunday Smiles Falling Leaves.
Forever Flowers
This mantel is truly charming. But what really caught my eye was the strawflower garland. I need one in my life.
Sunday Smiles Falling Leaves
The only downside I find with the new advertising is that I can no longer show videos unless they are my own. But I can link to them. If you are looking for an autumn-themed music playlist this one is FABULOUS!
I have everything on hand to make this gorgeous fall arrangement. You can view the DIY here. It’s perfect for those not quite ready to embrace falls bright hues.
I have always wanted to visit Edith Warton’s home The Mount in the Berkshires. Until such a time that travel is once again possible perhaps I will create a tablescape inspired by hers.
Fall Home Tours
In case you missed it my dear friend Marty’s home tours were last week. You can view 30 gorgeous homes festooned in fall finery HERE.
I’ll be back on Wednesday with episode three of Lessons With Laura.

I don’t think I even knew there was a Decor to Adore brick and mortar design store. Well, I’m glad the blog and yt aren’t closing! That would truly break my heart!
Thanks for the music link. I’m listening to it now and it’s perfect!

Love this post, Laura. I am sorry that I never new there was a Deecor to Adore brick and mortar design store. I am certain with your talent your new adventurre will be most successful. And, the Bronte quote has always been a favorite of mine.
Happy autumn, Laura.
