Hello sweet friends! We have had such glorious weather here in Texas. Our tomato plants are now taller than me. Let’s celebrate with Sunday Smiles Take Joy.
Wildmoor
In East Hampton, the childhood summer home of Jacqueline Bouvier Kennedy Onassis is for sale. Wildmoor was built in 1895 and still retains much of its original charm. Additional details HERE.
Fun Fashion Over 40
I generally shy away from graphic t-shirts. But Salvaged Living shared some cute casual looks.
I love the weekly series, Pets On Furniture. Every Monday Desire To Inspire provides furry smiles and laughs.
YUM
My friend Michelle just gave me a sourdough starter. I don’t think I’ve done this since the Amish bread craze 20+ years ago. It will take a bit of time to develop. So until then, I will continue to bake delicious things once a week, like Raspberry Crumble Bars.
Sunday Smiles Take Joy
Our local library carries a lovely assortment of DVDs. You order them online and pick them up through the drive-thru window. Earlier this week I selected the absolutely magical Take Joy! The Magical World of Tasha Tudor. Ms. Tudor is everything I would like to be. She is happy to be growing old. Tasha takes delight in her gorgeous garden while accompanied by her short-legged companions. She joyfully shares her miniatures and cooks delightful dishes.
The movie can also be viewed on Amazon or purchased for $1.99 on Youtube.
I wanted to take a moment to say that last night I watched the news coverage of my daughter’s Nashville neighborhood burning. I watched my cousin’s neighborhood burn.
Today I am leaning on Psalm 31:7 and Romans 12:12.
While I may continue to post images of peace and respite and speak of positivity I also SEE, SUPPORT, and LOVE everyone.
All are welcome here.

Tasha Tudor. Sigh. And I could wake up in that Wildmoor bedroom divinely happy every day.
I hope your daughter is safe. Such a lot of scary stuff in this world today.

Tasha Tudor has had a special place in my heart for many years. I collect her books and am a member of the Take Peace! facebook group and a member of the Tasha Tudor Society. Five years ago, my sister and I and our husbands took a tour of her home in Vermont. It was magical and I could have spent hours in her home. I will never forget that trip as I had just had a double mastectomy a few months earlier and was undergoing chemo for breast cancer. It certainly lifted my spirits! We also visited the Tasha Tudor Museum which is now closed. I hope you can watch the Take Peace dvd as is also very good.
Your daughter has really had her share of tragic events this year. Praying for her safety.
