Hello dear friends! I hope you having a wonderful weekend. Yesterday was originally supposed to be Sweet Guy’s graduation day. I decorated the house (which I will share soon) and we are celebrating at home in various ways. Today’s post, Sunday Smiles Blue and Gold, celebrates his school colors. It is a combination I also adore in decor and more.
Sunday Smiles Blue and Gold
I adore blue and white china paired with gold accents. It is truly gorgeous and timeless.
This gorgeous home features several rooms decorated in blue and gold. I have seen similar statement walls created with a gold sharpie or gold tape.
Who knew that a touch of blush pink would pair perfectly with blue and gold?
I could move right into this home and not change a thing.

Congratulations to Ian! My middle daughter is graduating as well – we are actually having an official ceremony but it is being held outdoors (in southeast Texas, in June, so it will either be raining or 150F or both), and attendance tickets are very limited, lots of social distancing rules, etc. We’re celebrating at home afterwards, so of course I started 15 new projects that I need to complete in the next 10 days. I’m a very optimistic slow learner – I hope your celebration is awesome!
Blue and white stoneware is one of my favorite decor pieces. They are so calming and cozy. And I love how the Polish have used blue and white in so many creative designs with their pottery— I think I have about 7 different blue and white Polish mugs❤️
OMGosh, he has grown so much in the years I’ve followed you, Laura, and he is so handsome! You and your hubby did good, also with your fab genes! Congrats to your guy on his accomplishments !
