Vintage Inspired Halloween Table and Banner

Hello, my spooktacular friends! Are you ready for Halloween? I was not going to decorate this year. Currently, I am knee-deep in assisting Sweet Guy with his college admission applications. The clock is ticking as they are all due November 1st! But then that same college-bound kid asked when I was going to put up the Halloween decor. So here is the 2019 Vintage Inspired Halloween Table and Banner.

I am not one for spooky or ghoulish Halloween decor. I like a happy vintage-inspired look.

The centerpiece features happy popcorn men. These classics were first seen over ten years ago.

The napkins have also been around. They were originally made for the Nevermore tablescape.

The candy-inspired lights were created for last year’s Hansel & Gretel Halloween table.

But there is a bit of new decor! Each place setting features a custom party cup. You can find the tutorial HERE.

The Banner

I also created a new wall banner. It has the same fun color palette used for the party cups.

Chipboard pennants make for a sturdy base. A few design ideas are laid out before I begin to glue on the scrapbook paper and embellishments.

A large upholstery needle makes threading the pennant so much easier!

Scrambling for letters I had on hand I came up with “Boo Treats”. My Boo, Mr. Decor, approved.

It was fun and challenging to create the tablescape and decor from things I already had on hand.

I’ll be back next week with my 2019 Halloween Costume.

While I totally understand that you were hoping to let one thing go on your busy to do list this year since you have a lot on your plate, I am so glad Sweet Guy didn’t let you get away with it. lol Your Boo Treats banner is so cute (and I love how it has a special significance in your home too . <3 ) It nice to see other colours adding to the fun along with the traditional orange and black.
Thank you so much for sharing your decorations and Thank you as well to Sweet Guy for the gentle reminder. He really is a Sweetie! 🙂
