The Best of 2014

Both Mr. Décor and Sweet Guy are home on Christmas break so while there is a quick lull in the activity I wanted to pop in and say “Hello”. This past year was a busy one full of changes and of course a lot of DIY. Here is The Best of 2014.

The Best of 2014

After moving to Texas in September and working on our 30 year old Storybook Cottage through much of October the Family Room was revealed in early November.

I am really excited about 2015. The new year is already shaping up to be even busier.

I am in the planning stages for the front entry and living room.

We are currently finishing up the laundry room which should be ready for a reveal next week.

I keep thinking the new year will surely be quieter then the previous year…silly thought. It seems from here on out there is no such thing as a less busy year. 2015 will be another exciting year at this old house with a wedding being planned for June. Your epic move and DIY new house renovation will continue into 2015 for sure. Fun times and sad times all wrapped up in our years are a given.

Laura, I am so glad you posted these highlights of your year in 2014. I missed some of your wonderful posts and this helped me to catch up a little. You did a fabulous job on the Family Room and it was lovely to see the final product. The neutral palette with pops of color and plaids (I love those) is a wonderful combination! The kitchen is absolutely gorgeous. You have been super busy, it is plain to see. I love it all! Wishing you much happiness, health and prosperity in 2015, sweet friend!
