I was recently humbled by a 16 year old girl.
If you haven’t seen the recent interview of Malala Yousafzai by Jon Stewart I encourage you to take a few minutes to watch.

Miss Yousafzai reminded me of how BLESSED I am to have grown up in the United States of America. How blessed I am that my daughter grew up as an American. Even with our current difficulties as a country, we are still free.
Miss Yousafzai recently became the youngest person ever nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize. Although she sadly did not win, I am praying that she receives numerous offers of scholarships for continued education. I would love to see her in office in her home country some day.
This beautiful young woman also made me question myself ~ “Am I doing enough?”

She is an amazing young lady and I am inspired every time I hear her speak. I'm so thankful that I live in the USA, but in my thankfulness, I need to remember to pray for and work in any way I can for those living in horrific circumstances. Plus she has a great testimony for forgiveness…

Thank you for posting this, Laura. I had read about her before and am, too, humbled by her courage, her perseverance and her wisdom at such an early age. God bless her. Susan

She is so wise beyond her years. I was very disappointed that she was not awarded the Nobel Peace Prize. My prayer is that God will continue to protect her.

Wow, to be so young and have done so much already. She is very courageous. We all could learn from her to not let fear stop us from pursuing our goals. Thanks for sharing this.
