Happy Monday friends! It is hard to believe that Halloween is just two weeks away. Thank you so much to Tammy of Pink Peppermint Design for hosting such a fun tour today. This year’s theme at Storybook Cottage is A Hansel and Gretel Halloween.
A Hansel and Gretel Halloween
If you are coming from DIY Decor Mom thank you for stopping by. Annie is so clever and creative in her holiday decorating.
Last Friday I shared a tutorial of the Hansel and Gretel Halloween houses that inspired today’s tablescape.
The houses became the centerpiece for this festive and fun table.
I began with a plain white tablecloth to showcase all of the happy colors.
Candy corn trees, lollipops, and bonbon garlands were mixed in.
Layers of fun!
The pumpkin plates came from Wal Mart. The black and white checked napkins were found at Tuesday Morning. Both were truly great deals!
Over on the sideboard, the theme continues.
A mini candy bar is perfect for the holiday.
Glass jars were embellished with ribbon scraps and mini glass ornaments.
Magic After Midnight
The true delights of this tablescape occur after the sun goes down.
Light up candy garlands cast a special glow.
Non-flammable tea lights were added to the houses.
Add in some moonbeams for additional magic.
The glitter shines even more.
The candy embellishments look so real.
I hope you have enjoyed this Halloween theme at Decor To Adore.
On Wednesday I’ll be back with a tutorial, Hansel and Gretel Light Up Candy Garlands. All made from dollar store materials.
Friday will feature the Hansel and Gretel 3D Pumpkin Diorama.
You can visit all of the homes on the tour.
Up next on the tour is my talented friend Amber of Follow The Yellow Brick Home. Her home is a true treat!

Your cottages are so cute.
After years of no children on our lane, we now have 3 families. I think I need to make something special to give each of the kids on Halloween. Thanks for the inspiration.

Oh my goodness how fun is this??? I see you also have come up with a way to create a lighthearted and whimsical Halloween home! It is perfect, candy themed yet let’s face it…the story is spooky! Love how you have incorporated it into Halloween. The little candles in the houses and the bottle brush trees are adorable . Of course the candy bar is so appropriate!
A highly enjoyable read.! I am already swooning over that diaorama too have a thing for “smalls and littles.” I will be back for sure!
