Hello, dear friends and welcome to the Storybook Cottage All Is Calm and Cozy Bedroom. Since October I have been working 12 hours days and truly needed a calm and quiet space to retreat to. All Is Calm Cozy Bedroom At my end of the bed is a sweet stocking from Christmas past made from a vintage pillowcase. It nestles against the pom-pom garland that I was thankfully able to repair after our new doxie, Gracie, tore it to shreds. On my nightstand is a sweet ceramic angel that ... View the Post
Dickens Fashions for Christmas Faires
I recently typed in a search engine question "How many A Christmas Carol movies are there?" The earliest surviving screen adaptation, Scrooge, or, Marley's Ghost, was made in 1901. There are 19 big screen adaptions and many more productions have been done for tv and the theater. This year has a lovely group of women being inducted into the Hall of Fame including singer Reba McEntire, artist Ashley Collins, and Ann Romney. The centerpiece I created consisted of stacked boxes made of reclaimed wood filled with the bounty of the ... View the Post

So I am happy to announce that the 2017 limited edition Christmas decor and other handcrafted treasures are now available in the online holiday shoppe. O Christmas Tree Each year I make a few ...
