Hello sweet friends, today I am sharing an easy and economical decorating theme. It is a Woodland Tablescape For A Sweet Guy.

This tablescape was created using only things I had on hand.
We have 16 oak trees here at Storybook Cottage and each autumn they get trimmed back. I used some of the smaller logs along with some faux greenery to create a low level centerpiece.
Friendly Village dishes, vintage glassware and fall leaf placemats continued the theme at each of the 10 place settings.
At each setting there was a place card. I find that people enjoy looking for their seat at the table and there is less confusion.

Mini lanterns and fairy lights help to create a cozy atmosphere.
The Menu
Over on the sideboard the theme was continued.
Antlers, faux leaves and acorns were placed in a wood tray for easy removal.
Various pine greenery was tucked in to create a lush vignette.
This dinner was held in honor of Sweet Guy’s 25th birthday. He prefers pie to cake so an apple crumb and pecan pie fit the outdoor theme beautifully.
Sweet Guy was born in Germany so Oktoberfest favorites were made for dinner.

His wonderful in laws, Mike and Michele attended.
Brother in law Matt and Sister in law Madison brought their smiles.
The grill master wore his leiderhosen and sister Lou helped set up.
