Friday Favorites Early November

Hello, sweet friends. I hope this Friday Favorites Early November edition finds you well. If you are looking for cozy craft, recipe, and decor ideas, this post is for you.

Friday Favorites Early November

The Six Bells

A charming countryside inn, located in Rosendale, NY, is on my MUST STAY list. I particular love the Mant’s Crake room.

Foraged Decor

I had not considered hanging a wreath on one of the many oak trees here at Storybook Cottage. But this foraged wreath looks so lovely.

A Charming Laundry Room

The combined pantry/laundry room here at Storybook Cottage recently was painted. I have yet to decorate it. But I love the sweet touches that were featured on Pine and Prospect.

Homemade Vanilla

My mom used to make homemade vanilla to give to friends durning the holiday season. This tutorial uses just two ingredients.

Debbie

This post is dedicated to my sister in law Debbie who lost her battle with cancer early this morning. Debbie and my brother, David, handbuilt the home that they lived in for many years. She welcomed many through her front door always with a lovely and heartwarming smile. She and my brother recently celebrated their 52nd wedding annviversary. Her passing is a sad and great loss to many.

I will be back tomorrow an early holiday post. The upstairs bedroom recently recieved a makeover. The new guest accomidations were created for under $100.

Hug someone you love,

Laura

Laura, I’m so very sorry for your family’s loss of your sister-in-law, Debbie. Like my sister who just passed recently, it leaves such a void in our hearts, and the grief for your brother must feel overwhelming. May you each navigate the grief with the fondest of memories.
