This past week has been a gentle glide into the changing season. A bit of rain, cooler nights, and even one occasion to wear a sweater. My heart is full and glad as I share Friday Favorites A Kindness Revolution.

Friday Favorites A Kindness Revolution
Kelly of The Tattered Pew is currently hosting Free Flower Fridays in her front yard as her zinnia harvest has been so abundant this year. What a sweet way to brighten someones day!

A 1790s Farm
In doing a deep dive into Colonial style I came across this 1790s farm that is just beautiful. The Dutch door and cute dog is pure charm. But just wait until you see the use of color and wallpaper in the other rooms of this gorgeous home.
Strawberry Feta Salad with Candied Pecans
I’m hosting an 18th century sewing circle this weekend and two of us are dairy free. I think this delicious salad will be the main star for a lovely lunch.
And For Dessert
This recipe for Chocolate Pots de Creme with Raspberries is vegan and gluten free.
Charming Swedish Home
The moody color palette found in the rooms of this cozy cottage provides lovely fall iinspiration. Don’t miss the outdoor garden house. It truly captured my heart!
Handmade Happiness
Ann Wood is hosting a fall thrifted fabric sewing challenge. She is created this darling elephant from fabric found at the thrift shop.
In Case You Missed It
A Sneak Peek
This Sunday will be the 250th day of the year. I plan on doing an Instagram Live to talk about some really wonderful projects that I am currently preparing in anticipation of 2026. If you are not yet aware America will celebrate 250 years of American Independence.
For the next three months, I will be visiting wonderful sites to look at Federal architecture and furniture, create some wonderful Colonial-inspired crafts and recipes, as well as sew a wardrobe that perhaps even Martha Washington would be proud to wear. I hope you will join me on this journey.

I hope you’ll join me in creating beauty, uplifting others and creating a kindness revolution.
Laura

I love spreading kindness Laura…I try to pay it forward when I can. Love the little elephant. How clever. Who wouldn’t love the strawberry feta salad! Yum! And I have always wanted a Dutch Door but my houses just were not conducive to the plan. Dog is adorable too. Have a great day.
