Hello sweet friends! I am once again participating in the Budget-Friendly Recipes Hop hosted by my dear friend Marty of A Stroll Thru Life. If you are new to Decor To Adore may I say โWelcome!โ This dish is a family favorite. I have also served it many times to guests with rave reviews. Delicious Cream Cheese Chicken uses just 5 simple ingredients and cooks in a crockpot!
Delicious Cream Cheese Chicken
Here are the 5 ingredients:
- 4 – 6 chicken boneless and skinless chicken breasts.
- 1 package of Italian dressing mix.
- Add one can of cream of chicken soup.
- 1 eight-ounce package of cream cheese.
- 2 tablespoons of butter.
Crockpot Cooking
- Turn the crockpot on medium.
- Add butter.
- While the butter is melting cube the cream cheese.
- Add the Italian dressing, soup, and cream cheese to the melted butter and mix well.
- Then add in your chicken coating it with the sauce well.
- Cook for 5 hours or until chicken is cooked and tender.
Perfect Rice
The chicken and sauce are delicious with rice, potatoes, or noodles. When I serve this dish to guests I generally select rice and make it FANCY!
Step 1: scoop the rice in a small mason jar, jelly jar, or glass and pack it down with a spoon.
Step 2: Invert the jar of rice onto a plate.
Final step: Lift up the glass and voila! A perfect mound of rice.
Delicious Leftovers
This dish reheats beautifully and makes for delicious leftovers. If there are any!
It pairs well with salad, green beans, and broccoli.
Sweet guy was just chomping at the bit for me to finish photos so that he could devour this plate!
