Kindness
As many of you know I have been practicing 40 Days of Kindness. Tomorrow is the fortieth day. I’ve already decided that I will be resetting the calendar and starting over. Because kindness is needed, now, more than ever.
I loved this article on a wonderful way to practice kindness right in your own neighborhood.

In Case You Missed It
I’ve been a bit quiet here at DTA as I am currently keeping my foot on the treadle to prepare for the upcoming Cherry Blossom Festival. Over on Instagram I shared some lovely little reticules.
Earl Grey Cake
This yummy cake features subtle citrus flavors and Earl Grey tea (Mr. Decor’s favorite). The whipped cream cheese frosting is my favorite, making it a perfect choice to celebrate our 27th wedding anniversary today!
I am taking the rest of today off to celebrate with my sweetheart. Our activities shall include a visit to the garden center, a delightful lunch and a dreamy dinner.
What are your plans for the weekend?
Laura
Happy Anniversary, Laura! It sounds as though you have a wonderful day planned. I can’t think of anything nicer. And your cake looks both delicious and beautiful!
I have a delightfully unplanned weekend coming up. Nothing on the calendar. If it’s nice, I’ll get out; if not, happily hibernate! Happy weekend and again, happy 27!
Happy Anniversary to you and your husband. May it be as wonderful and as sweet as you!
Happy Anniversary Laura…what a wonderful plan for your day.
The Captain and I are planning a Motorhome trip to Kansas to celebrate grand-daughter’s wedding. This means prep work in the motorhome, stocking with supplies, clothes etc. and checking on map routes. I am sure we will take a break during our planning and enjoy some seafood out at our favorite seafood restaurant oceanside (by the Gulf). We are not sure what day we will start out…just whenever we are ready. We will be allowing plenty of time to get to the wedding with lots of stops along the way. A very leisure trip.
Have a Blessed a glorious day.
