Hello sweet friends! Are you keeping cool? Mr. Decor and I have just returned from a weeklong trip to the Niagara Falls area. It was glorious! I have so much to share with you in the next few weeks. So let’s get started with some Sunday Smiles 108.
Camp Life
We also traveled around in the Finger Lakes region of New York. There are several camps known for their specialized decor. I found this former Boy Scout camp turned home near Chicago that showcases the style beautifully.

Using a lighter take on classic camp style, the layering in this home is superb.
A Small Step Towards Autumn
We’ve had 45 days of 100+ degree weather without any rain.
To say that I am “Over it” is an understatement. It’s hard to think of fall decor in these conditions but I like the idea of olive branches with kumquats.
An Alternative to PSL
Along the same lines, I just cannot think about pumpkin spice lattes right now. But this Autumn Harvest Punch sounds delicious!
A Lovely Pantry
Our pantry here at Storybook Cottage is in need of a refresh. I really like how this pantry is organized.
On today’s agenda I will start editing the 2,500 pictures we took last week. I hope to be back on Tuesday with the first post of our trip.
