Hello sweet friends, greetings from Florida! I hope you are having a wonderful weekend. Today is Sunday Smiles Summertime Blues. I know how to beat them. Park yourself by a beach, pool or sprinkler and enjoy a blue raspberry lemonade.

Pro Aging
Earlier this week Mr. Decor and I were walking down Worth Avenue in Palm Beach. (It’s like the Rodeo Drive of Florida.) A pretty lady from an upscale salon spa and potions shop ushered my husband in. She asked what he used on his face. He replied, “Soap and water.” But what else she inquired? “Sunscreen”. But what else? Meanwhile a European man in the salon then asked me to sit down and proceeded to slather something on me to take “10 years off.” He said, “Look, you look great, it’s only $500 for this 2 year supply.” I then replied, “I’ve lived in Europe. I subscribe to their fantastic outlook of embracing age. It’s freeing and healthy to like how life experiences are replected in the way I look. It shows I have character.” He then stopped, took a long look at me and said, “Yes.” Mr. Decor and I walked out WITHOUT the miracle cream. This great article, featuring Jamie Lee Curtis, supports our outlook.

I love that blue arched door! What a weird experience at the spa/salon shop. I agree–we need to stop treating age like a disease.

Thank you for another lovely and serene post.
Love love, love! All the beauty, the scenery, feeling like an era from long ago, to a simpler time.
Thank you.
