Hello sweet friends! How is summer treating you? Last week I was surrounded by green while touring the Pacific Northwest. It absolutely inspired today’s post, Sunday Smiles A Touch Of Green.
Sunday Smiles A Touch Of Green
I still have kitchen makeovers on my mind. Ours has been a bit postponed due to the high price of lumber. But we should be back on track shortly. This kitchen remodel is gorgeous. I adore the touches of green on the island and in the pantry.
A Lovely Potager
I still have grand plans to someday build a potager. Our current yard is not conducive to being anything but a shade garden due to the 16 oak trees. But this garden is quite lovely. It was created with reclaimed elements.
A Charming Upcycle
Artist Inès Mélia transforms vintage books into darling tissue boxes and fills them with vintage embroidered handkerchiefs. I have probably 200+ such hankies and would love to do this. You can purchase her work HERE.
A Cotswolds Cottage
There are touches of green throughout this charming 15th century home which was once a giant dovecote to house pigeons. I adore this attic bedroom and its wide variety of comforters and eiderdowns unified with matching green bed ruffles.
A Charming Playhouse
Denbigh Farm in Greenwich, Connecticut is a lovely estate that was recently owned by Susie and her ex-husband, Tommy Hilfiger.
A charming feature of the property is the built-to-scale model of Mt. Vernon playhouse. The playhouse design was inspired by the original details of George Washington’s home.
I’ll be back later this week with a few more looks at our recent holiday.
Have a lovely day!

Your post is lovely! There are so many shades of green and there is always one to go with pretty much any colour. I had a hard time choosing between blue or green for our last painting project but narrowed it down to a couple of blues. No regrets but still want to paint another room the pretty shades of green I had picked out. Its going to go somewhere in the house! lol
I am sure it is frustrating to have to wait to do the kitchen renos but the cost of lumber would mean not being able to do all the things you wanted. We have some things to repair too but waiting for a little longer to see what happens. If not, there is always next year.
Thank you for the lovely post! Enjoy your day! 🙂
