Hello dear friends! How are your days progressing? I am currently planning out a jam-packed project week. I was supposed to be in Nashville with the Fashionista to celebrate her birthday. So, keeping busy will keep me from feeling sorry for myself. As a little girl (and still to this day) her all-time favorite Disney movie was Mulan. I think the quote below is appropriate for these days we are facing and Sunday Smiles Blossom and Grow.
House 1924
I love every single room in this glorious historical Colonial home in Delaware.
Hashtag Smile
I have always told my children that a person’s true character is often revealed in the face of adversity.Β During this difficult season, we all may have opportune moments to shine or cast a shadow.
A brilliant ray of light is Tim Send. The head of security for the National Cowboy Museum was asked to temporarily do double duty as their social media director while the museum temporarily closed its doors. His “Tick Tock” entry made me laugh until I cried. HASHTAG you too will smile at his posts.
Lovely Touch of Spring
I love every inch of this spring-inspired Farmer’s Market entryway shared by French Creek Farmhouse.
A Big Smile for Something Little
Do you have a Little Free Library in your neighborhood? I’ve shared ours on DTA once or twice. Many people have been converting theirs into Little Free Pantries. On my last neighborhood walk, I spied some toilet paper and beans just waiting for someone in need. I think on my next jaunt I’ll add to it.
I’ll be back later this week with some gardening goodness.
Keep blooming!

Missing a child’s birthday kinda stings but we can all celebrate big time later. My youngest daughter’s birthday was the 21st and she will remind you a month in advance that her birthday is coming up. Take care, I appreciate all your posts. xoxo

I’ve wanted a little free library for so long. And if I had one, I’d do just that — make it a little free pantry. What a wonderful idea.
I’m sorry about your trip, Laura. Just think of the belated celebration you will have.
I shudder to ask… England?

Laura, I am so sorry about your missing your daughter’s birthday. I know that must be difficult. Enjoy your projects and at least we can communicate with those we love. Not like many moons ago when people had to write letters and wait for weeks for a response. Stay well.

Laura, I am sorry you won’t be able to visit with your daughter here her birthday but hopefully you will be able to visit her soon. π I’ve been thinking about our little grown-up girl Amy and how she is doing working the front-line of Costco. I hope she doesn’t get the virus. Baby C is due later this week (April 2nd) and Mom and Dad are fine up in South Dakota. It’s tough to worry about our children when they aren’t near for us to try and protect them.
The hashtag story was cute! I think he should have tried the hat on… π Been massively cleaning our yard this weekend and repotting last of the plants. A few more to go. Hope your garden is coming along!!
Stay well; Keep calm and drink tea,
Barb π
