Royal Wedding Party Ideas
There is so much darling goodness to behold if you are preparing to host a Royal Wedding viewing or street party.
I myself have been hosting a Royal Wedding party every Wednesday since February. I plan on rising at 3 am to watch the wedding itself. If you are also going to celebrate then I hope you will enjoy these ideas regal enough for Royalty.
Decor
Try hanging red, white, and blue pom-poms from the ceiling or on walls as party décor.
Street parties are big events in Britain as are garden parties. I adore the Cath Kidston feel of this sweet event.
Merely googling “Red, white and blue party décor” will bring forth a plethora of wonderful ideas for entertaining.
When I typed in “British-themed wedding” I was rewarded with these inspiring images.
Printables
To create an atmosphere of a right royal “knees up” party printables are perfect!
These corgi-inspired invites are adorable.
Fantastic free printables are available at Bird’s Party.
Royal Wedding Bingo could be played during commercial breaks.
Even more great ideas can be found HERE.
Keep kids occupied with Royal Wedding Paper Dolls or Coloring Pages.
If you type in Union Jack, crown, queen, cake, and castle there are also numerous coloring pages.
Recipes
As most of America will be watching the wedding in the wee hours, a breakfast menu is a perfect
solution.
While scones and tea are a given, doesn’t this Union Jack Fruit Pizza look delicious?
A great alternative to “Toad in the Hole” is this bacon and egg savory appetizer.
Of course, every wedding celebration needs a cake.
While you could also create fruit kebabs, this parfait confection looks a “trifle” yummy too.
Keep it simple with classic fish and chips. I adore this presentation.
Party Favors
Give your guests a sweet reward for getting up so early.
Love these felt Union Jack ornaments.
Take home cake boxes.
Tea party for one gift bag.
A cute wedding boutonniere or broach.
Delightful teacup treats to go.
Hostess Gifts
Anyone hosting a party that begins between 3 and 5 a.m. in America deserves a prize.
I would be delighted with some Royal Wedding Tea.
A piece of Royal Wedding china would be brilliant and leave the hostess gobsmacked with happiness. I adore the teacup!
I’ll be back tomorrow with another Royal Wedding Week post. May you all live Happily Ever After!

Forget Westminster and Buckingham, Decor Castle is the place you should head to celebrate this Royal Wedding in style ;).
Loved the suggestions and I'm laughing looking at the (real) prep pics with so much people running and stressing over it when all they needed was you.
Wednesday won't be half fun after Friday ;).
Wishing you a wonderful trip, with lots of fun and full of rich experiences.
Yours,

These are all so fantastic that I kept changing my mind as to what was my favorite. I finally decided that it was either a tie or I would have to pick the adorable little girl in the homemade coach just for cuteness.
I feel like such a goof because I'm getting so excited.

How wonderful!!! Today Indy and I went to our local British shop (called Piccadilly!) to get some “authentic” British goodies to eat while we watch and discovered that they are having a HUGE viewing party complete with tea, cake, scones, biscuits and other stuff. They are actually rearranging the store to accommodate a large screen TV, chairs and food tables. We might just go to that. There were a lot of people there today buying goodies for their own parties. We can't wait. Thanks so much for all your work on RWW! I'm excited to see what you come up with for the Monaco wedding. We went there last year and it is such a gorgeous country!

Hey!! It's the Royal PEAculiar, here!!
We are basically at a DEFCON-10 level here, eagerly anticipating THE WEDDING!!!
Cranberry orange scones are being glazed, and strawberries, blueberries and cream will be served in the morning. Champagne is chilling…morning negotiations of “who is getting up when” are underway and the young, “DON'T CALL ME PRINCESS” Royal PEAculiar 2 has accepted that she will be yanked out of the bed just before Miss Middleton makes her way to the church to witness this historic event! (She'll thank me in 20 years or so!! I hope.) And NeNe? Well, NeNe is “just standing around,” as usual…hee hee!
Dear, dear Laura–I have SO enjoyed these posts and having the opportunity to join in!!!
LET THE ROYAL RUMPUS BEGIN!!!
Love,
Your Royal PEAculiar
