Saturday Smiles DIY Delights

This week it felt as though every blogger was knocking it out of the park. I found myself pinning like crazy. A few that really struck a cord are here on Saturday Smiles DIY Delights.

I have some vintage trim that might be perfect for a NO SEW project Like This.

Lovely Inspiration

Yvonne is a true favorite. This Post was chock full of great ideas and stunning photography.

When Dessert Makes You Smile

For me, dessert always makes me smile, but Blueberry Boy Bait, totally took the cake this week.

Food For Thought

I loved this quote I came across earlier in the week. “Cool is an emotional straightjacket.” I still struggle with hitting the “publish” button at times. But I shouldn’t. You can view the complete context HERE.

Five Words That Changed Everything

One To Watch

I have started watching Jamestown on PBS Masterpiece. The show is available for viewing on Amazon Prime or the paid PBS Passport. It is from the producers of Downton Abbey and written by Bill Gallagher (Lark Rise to Candleford, The Paradise ~ two of my favorites.) The show appears to have everything I love… history, intrigue, romance as well as historic architecture, interiors and costumes. I would give it a PG13 rating.

Have a wonderful weekend!

    Laura,
Yvonne is the MASTER at plate stacking! I need to check out Jamestown. Maybe today on this cold overcast day… where did spring go?

Hello Laura! I loved your picks for the week! That Blueberry Boy Bait looks so delicious! And such a lovely DIY idea for napkins too! Always love the fun easy DIY that make it look like you slaved, when you didn’t! Hope you are enjoying a lovely weekend 🙂

Those napkins are darling. Lately I have been dying to use fringe or ric rack to create something for summer.

Laura, love all your selections for the week. Especially love the napkins with the tassel fringe. Trim makes everything better!

Love those napkins, Laura, and I have trim stashed away, too. Yes, Yvonne does stunning work, and that blueberry dessert looks scrummy! I will need to check out Jamestown, as it sounds like something I’d love.

Oodles of fun links. I forgot about Jamestown. I’ll have to check into it. I don’t use my passport nearly enough and I should. You do find the loveliest links!
