After encountering post-Christmas decor doldrums I now find myself looking forward to Valentine’s Day. While I initially thought I would create a creamy neutral palette I find myself longing for Saturday Smiles Pink Perfection.
Yet the two shades can also be beautifully combined. Isn’t this tea party so inviting?
Saturday Smiles Pink Perfection
Do you favor a brighter pink? I LOVED this article on how to create modern Victorian interiors in your home. While some of the selections are quite avant-garde there are so many great takeaways on color and display.
I’m waiting for the day someone comes up with a DIY for decorative ornamental art plaster similar to the work in this French chateau. I would love to apprentice with this gentleman who is creating modern day works of art. If I were just beginning my college career I would apply to the American College of the Building Arts in Charleston.
Speaking of all things French. I have a secret. Later this year I will be celebrating a milestone birthday. My very lovely and kind cousin Linda has gifted me a plane ticket to come stay with her in France in the early autumn. While I will fly directly into her home city I will fly home out of Paris. Wouldn’t a stay at the Pink Paris Ritz be a dream?
A bit of pink more obtainable is this gorgeous set of Jane Austen books. Alas, I already have one set of these titles in pastel shades.
Even better is this sweet printable. The verse was read at our wedding.
I hope you are in the pink!

Beautiful images my friend. The pink leather bound Jane Austen books are calling my name.

Yes. Yes. Yes. I so love the Victorian room with that vivid chair. I went to the site in Georgia that teaches plastering. I want to go so bad. The only time I am ever sad is when I realize what I could have done. I checked the enrollment for Sept. on-going education classes. I believe they are already full for 2018.

Pink isn’t usually my favourite, but I am actually longing for some vibrant hues right about now after being stuck under a foot of snow for over a month with more in sight! Have fun in France!

I can’t think of anyone who will make more out of a trip to France than you. Lucky girl to have such a generous cousin. Looking forward to the pictures and stories of your adventures.
