Christmas is still 10 days away. I could choose to fill the time any number of ways, to include working away on a few new posts. Instead, I have decided to take A Long Winters Nap.
A Long Winters Nap
Today is the last day of school for Sweet Boy. Christmas vacation is set to begin at 3:45 this afternoon. Our family has plans to bake, look at Christmas lights, drink cocoa, watch movies and keep cozy.
I will spend lovely bits of time catching up on my reading, working on new projects and seeking out simple daily joys with my family. Some of this will possibly be shared on Instagram.
Most importantly we will continue to celebrate this precious season of Advent.
In the meantime, there will be a jolly collection of posts of Christmas past shared for your enjoyment.
May your days be merry and bright,
Laura

Oh wow! That is pretty early for vacation from school to start. Our kids don’t get out until next Wednesday!
I finished wrapping yesterday – except that I will probably buy some more in the meantime! Oh well!
Enjoy your Christmas vacation! I wish I could nap – I wake up way too early thinking of things – Christmas buzzing in my head!!!

Oh, my gosh, that photograph is so beautiful. That would make a good book jacket, my friend.
P.S. I’m still laughing about the “cat that didn’t make it.”
