This past week my dear friend Marty of A Stroll Thru Life hosted an amazing summer home tour. Each and every home on the tour was full of lovely summer goodness and inspiration. Summer Home Decorating Trends.
There were a few summertime trends that caught my eye:
Beautiful outdoor living spaces
You must go see Southern Hospitality’s garden with beautiful blue hydrangeas.

Duke Manor Farm has a new swimming pool and the surrounding outdoor spaces only enhance its beauty.
Remodelando la Casa transformed an outdoor potting bench into a glorious summer serving station.
Cuckoo 4 Design has a wonderfully woodsy patio.
Cooling blue color palettes
Soft shades of indigo from Making Home Base are a perfect choice for summer.
A Stroll Thru Life included a soft seafoam in her front room that feels so elegant and lovely.
I love the navy and white French bistro chairs in the breakfast nook at Life Love Larson.
Life On Virginia Street has a wonderful collection of blue bottles that she has used throughout her home.
Soft shades of white for a light feel
Nesting With Grace paired happy summer brights in her lovely white kitchen.
Various tones and textures of white are used exclusively in the tour by Thrifty and Chic.
It’s happy white summertime bliss for this cute pup at 11 Magnolia Lane.
Fun summertime touches
I absolutely adore the wee bathing beauty Pink Peppermint Design included into her tablescape.
Adding touches of jute and wicker provide a tropical touch of summer at Hymns & Verses.
Nothing says summer like the palm pillows and lush indoor plants Z Design At Home uses in her décor.
Love this darling bicycle accent filled with flowers shown at Refresh/Restyle.
There is no shortage of summer reading materials at Haneen’s Haven.
My very favorite summer home tour may just be from Simple Stylings who reminded us that focusing on summer fun, instead of perfection, is the best home accent of all.

I'm laying bed looking at these and loving them all. After moving four times in the last five years and living in rentals that leave some things to be desired, my home decor gets me down as I haven't been able to “be me”.
