The First Annual Bloggers Holiday Luncheon was an amazing success!
Bloggers Holiday Luncheon
Given that most of us had never met one another in person I thought it would be helpful to create name tags from vintage holiday images in a prize ribbon style.
Group Photo
It was such fun getting to know this wonderful group.
Back row left to right~ Katie of Let’s Add Sprinkles, Stacey from Poofing the Pillows, Julie from Lilacs and Longhorns, Lisa of Hospitable Pursuits, longtime reader, and adorable new friend Darla, Eilis from My Heart Lives Here. Bottom row left to right~ yours truly and Judith from Botanic Blue.
Everyone brought so many delicious dishes and wonderful offerings for the luncheon/cookie exchange.
Simple party favors featured seasonal cookie cutters along with happy greetings for the season.
In closing, I would like to mention that this is my 1500th post (it kind of snuck up on me :). It seems fitting that it occurred in a post featuring new blogging friends. I could never have imagined that when I began blogging almost eight years ago that it would lead me on such an amazing journey. Over the years I have met some truly wonderful people both online and in person! I want to thank each and every one of you who have shared such fantastic love, positivity, and support over the years. You all are truly a blessing to me.

Laura,
Everything was wonderful, but best of all was getting to meet each other in person. Sitting around the table talking about the same kinds of things 'real-life' friends discuss was a real treat. All of you look amazing in the photo, but I have to say, the photo reminds me why there is no photo of me on my blog. hahahaha
