What a year! I hit a blogging milestone of 1000 posts and also turned 45. There were several projects completed this year and it was hard to pick favorites but I narrowed it down to a baker’s dozen.
We began the New Year in 2013 with three posts that featured glorious party food, a happy tablescape, and party hats that are still pinned approximately 25 times a day.
The first home project of 2013 was transforming my office for under $30. Part 1 was the room itself and decorating the furniture in the room.
Part II was creating curtain panels.
Still working in my office I slipcovered my desk chair.
Valentine’s Day brought forth a bevy of crafts but the fan favorite was the French inspired candy boxes.
The internet is still going mad over the Ikea slipcovers I dyed.
Another highly pinned project was the French lantern that was electrified using parts from Goodwill.
The floral spring wreath was dearly loved.
Over the summer our family went on vacation and I shared my complete wardrobe with just 12 pieces.
Another set of drapes were made~ this time it was easy Greek Key curtains.
The Fashionista’s 80’s Bathroom received a makeover.
Fall brought forth a front porch vignette for under $10.
My personal Magnum Opus for 2013 was the two complete 18th Century Ensembles I created for under $100.
During my time off last week several upcoming projects were completed so stay tuned.
What type of projects would you like to see more of in 2014?

It is always fun to look back and review the year. Sometimes you don't feel like you've accomplished all that you'd like, but looking through your blog, you realize you accomplished more than most. I think that is why I like blogging and maybe even why I still continue – so that I can chronicle my life and the changes that come over time. Thanks for sharing your year in review.
Happy New Year.
