Gifts To Make #6 The Five Second Anthropologie Sweater

A tutorial for you, Gifts To Make #6 The Five Second Anthropologie Sweater. Years ago fur and crochet collars were all the rage.

You may have noticed that they have made a comeback in a big way.

Gifts To Make #6 The Five Second Anthropologie Sweater

Two summers ago my Grandma Jingles sent me a package of some of her long ago favorites. They included this pretty blue collar and broach that have since sat in my closet.

I decided to pair them and now wear them.

My kids call me the cardigan Queen. What can I say, I like layers.

Ivory lace and crochet collar

While I adore Anthropologie sweaters, I have a bit of trouble wanting to pay Anthropologie prices.

Ivory lace and crochet collar

I found the other vintage collars at various estate sales and thrift shops. Some received a dye bath and new buttons. All received tulle and silk ribbon.

gray collar

Vintage and antique millinery nestle into the softness.

The Fashionista also likes them on collarless coats.

The collars look pretty cute on crew neck tees too.

UPDATE: SOLD OUT!

You can find these collars in my Etsy shop.

Your collars are beautiful. I just gone one from my Grandma's things as part of my inheritance.

I love that old and classy things come back every once in a while (as popular).

Beautiful Laura. I agree with you about the rush for Christmas decorating. We just returned from 3 weeks away so my tree and decorations just went up. They will be up till sometime in Jan for sure and one year they were up till Valentines day so I did the tree again in red and pink hearts. It was so much fun.
    Enjoy your Christmas.
