Yesterday I spent the day with these Christmas cuties. We were Catching the Gingerbread Dog.
We had a bit of lunch.
Then spent the afternoon making delightful Gingerbread Houses. The boys sprinted to finish their house, while the girls were so detail oriented. Surprise, surprise. They would like you to vote for your favorite as I could not decide.

Rudi was team lead on the cleanup crew.
I loved this collection of Christmas cards.
Lovely scarves~ a vintage Parisian gem went home with me.
Cute pixies.
Rows upon rows of lovely fabrics and vintage linens to swoon over.
I knew this hand-painted gem of a wallet wouldn’t last long. Jen’s prices were TOO good!
I added a few vintage embellished corsages to the mix.
I wish you could see the fabulous T strap shoes on my feet, but this is what they looked like.
Of course, every Christmas story needs a leg lamp.
We are in the process of overhauling Jenny’s blog where you’ll be able to see more vintage loveliness. Until then, here’s her contact info. Yes, she ships. (Jenny makes her business cards~ just one more thing I love about her.)
Be merry and bright, and happy Christmas eve night!

I'm actually on a “blogging break” but I'm up before the rest of the house today and this was the only thing I could think of to not make too much noise 🙂 I have to vote for the second one but only because of the basket of love and peace, that touched my heart – very sweet.

She's even dressed in a 1940s outfit! How cute, sweetpea. I remember dresses and hairstyles like that on my mother.

Good Morning Laura Sweetie…
Merry CHRISTmas. I can't believe that it is already here. I love this post today. It is priceless.
Now these precious kids and their gorgeous job of decorating. Each one is so detailed. While the girls did such a beautiful job decorating their house, I loved it, but when the boys described theirs and I got a close up of the boys house, oh my I love Dad getting the tree and the crushed peppermints and the waterfall. Laura I have to vote for the boys, they really were creative on this one. Love, Love, Love it.
You look so pretty in your red dress, and your friend Jen looks gorgeous as well. Love her booth, and I too can see many beautiful things I liked. I bet that wallet went fast as well. How unique it was. Love it.
What would Christmas be without the Christmas Story lamp. Love it, and it sure fits the booth.
Have a very Merry CHRISTmas Laura, and Happy New Year too.
Many hugs and so much love, Sherry

Thank you thank you THANK YOU for doing this event with me!! I am so lucky that you shared the evening with me, and that you honor me with your precious friendship, sweet lady. Just one more loving legacy from Heidi, because if it wasn't for her, we never would have met. I want to do this again with you (Nathaniel is making noise about a Valentine's Day event there in February!!) and have some more fun!
Have a fantastic Christmas, and we shall talk after the holidays about this blog thing!
Lots of lovely love, darling!

I think both gingerbread houses are terrific each win for different reasons. The girls had more details on their church, but the boys had more details in their story surrounding their cool house. Love the gingerbread dog too. Best wishes for a wonderful Christmas. Ann
