Last Sunday I took the Willo Home Tour here in Phoenix. In the previous post, I shared several exterior shots of some truly delightful homes. Let’s take a peek inside. First up, kitchens! I loved the soft green on this kitchen’s ceiling. Beautiful kitchens, baths, and other interior loveliness.
Beautiful kitchens, baths, and other interior loveliness
The plate rack is great.
This kitchen was located inside a 1930’s bungalow. The well done remodel really kept the feel of the place.
This was my favorite kitchen so you get another shot.
Next up are bathrooms. I love the lighting and that they kept the original 1930’s wall tile.
This mirror provides such a luxurious feel.
I really adore using old chests and buffets as bathroom vanities.
I would happily do my laundry here.
Isn’t the grasscloth wallcovering so fresh? I too use old pictures in my hallway and it is the one thing everyone who visits comments on.
I loved this ceiling detail.
Original lighting, swoon!
Modern lighting, gasp!
This is a great drapery solution for a corner window.
I love this flagstone wall. A padded headboard would make a lovely contrast.
Love the wingchair inspired headboard and the colors, yum!
I’m off to paint a $20 Craiglist find which I will reveal soon.
Have a blessed weekend,
Laura

I really love to look inside other peoples' houses! Yesterday I was in one of the really huge 19th century villa's here in town. A former neighbor (lucky girl!) has bought it, but I didn't dare to take photos 🙁
So I love that you did that! Now we can all tour along thanks for that and have a lovely weekend!

I so enjoyed the pictures today Laura. Reminds me so of some of my grandma's friends houses when I was a child visiting. It is hard to choose a favorite! Have an enjoyable weekend.

I have, and always will be, been in LOVE with those plate racks ♥ Maybe…one day I will try my hands on making one myself….
Adorable pictures again, as always and yes decorating with old photo's is so lovely ♥

Ooooh, maaaaaaan, do I love those rooms, honey! I'll never have a designer kitchen because I try my best not to cook much. If Love Bunny would eat out 5 nights a week I'd love it! Amazing rooms though, chickee.

Connie

Thank you for sharing these lovely photos! The 1930s cabinets really rock & the old chests in the bath room are a great idea. Oh, if only I had a large enough bathroom!

Thanks for the tour today. I love white cabinets and adore the plate rack. If I could change my kitchen counter out I think I would have to have a marble counter top, like the one in the photo you posted.

Oooooh, I love the pictures. Those of the kitchens make me drool! Our next big renovation project (after we clean up the mess that's going on now with our master-closet reno) is the kitchen, so I am seeking inspiration. I LOVE LOVE LOVE the look of white cabinets…always have. I love a cheery and bright kitchen. We have a historic home, circa 1869, so I want to do justice to the house and keep the same feel in the kitchen as in the rest of the house. Maybe an old farmhouse style kitchen would be the thing? Hmmmm….lots of choices to consider, and I admit I am a little overwhelmed! But it is SO MUCH FUN to sort through pictures and magazines and….I'm having a blast. Thanks for sharing!
Blessings,
Paula

Here by way of Cote de Texas (congrats on your win!). Love the kitchens!!! Are you… if so, I cannot say what your grandmother's (great grandmother's??) books meant to me! I read every single one over and over and over (really).

Thanks for taking us on the tour. I love the white subway tiles in the white kitchen. I really need to think about going on some home tours here, you really can get some great decor and detail ideas.

Great photos. I love the flagstone wall too, but agree, an upholstered headboard would be a better contrast.

My favorite is the first kitchen with the light green ceiling. I also love the buffets as vanities. Who'da thunk it?
Have a great Sunday!

Oh my goodness, Laura!!! You make me want something that I can't have. All of those are sooooo gorgeous – I especially love the kitchens!! Our home is so small and ordinary – nothing like the elegance that's present in these homes. But honestly, in our small, rural town, we would never recover such extravagence when it comes time to sell. That's not really what stops us though – I add my sweet little touches of decorating on a budget, and then our money is spent elsewhere on travel or things for the yard.
Still ~ it's fun to dream. 🙂

I just drooled over your photos. There were so many comments I was saving in my head as I scrolled along merrily. Such as…love the yellow subway tile….love dressers as vanities too, but can't get past cutting into the top to “sink” the bowl….great window dressing idea for corner window, love it…great colors in the “wing chair headboard” bedroom…the stone wall in the master bedroom reminds me of Mike and Carol Brady……must admit: I don't love the modern light fixture–maybe I would in context?…yup, thumbs up to the grasscloth and vintage b&w photos….that's all I remember.
As always, your post inspires!
