ORC Week 3 Is There Anything More Exciting Than A New Toilet?

ORC Week 3 Is There Anything More Exciting Than A New Toilet? Oh this has to be the least pretty post I have ever written. However, we are supposed to document what exactly is going on in the rooms we are transforming in just six short weeks so there you have it.

ORC Week 3 Is There Anything More Exciting Than A New Toilet?

A new Kohler toilet installed in the family room half bath by none other than the talented Mr. Décor himself.

Other Exciting Things

There is not much else to report other than the Jimmy Hoffa closet was cleaned out, given two liberal coats of “Du Jour” paint and lighting was installed.

Lest you think I have been slacking off let me assure you I have not. This entire home that we just purchased is in dire need of a major spruce up in each and every room. Our furniture is due to be delivered on Monday so I was eager to at least get all the rooms painted while they were empty. I have worn a variation of this outfit for the past 9 days. #can’twaittoburnit

Next week should include the finished transformation of this dated stained oak coffered ceiling. You are not going to believe how different it looks!

The 10 Cent Tour

I also need to bring home the sofa and hit up a few estate sales to find an antique red rug.

Gentleman's Library

You can see all of the other participants on Linda’s website Calling It Home.

Things like toilets and paint are major in my book. Keep your chin up – shortly you will be able to torch those paint spattered clothes. That fabulous sofa still has me weak in the knees.

That ceiling looks so fab. And yes, I would be happy with a new toilet. We all have the same decorating disease.
