This coming Saturday is Valentine’s Day. It makes my heart so happy that there are now so many ways to celebrate love on this special holiday. Recently, we had some houseguests arrive for a visit at lunch time. They were warmly greeted with A Galentine Tea Party.

A Galentine Tea Party
The weather that day was decidedly overcast and drizzly. So I set up a cozy welcome in the kitchen.

The tablescape began with a small vintage tablecloth that featured lovely cross stitched roses.
It paired beautifully with antique pink rose Bavarian china.

The centerpiece featured pink tulips as well as some yummy nuts and crackers. They were placed in tin accessories that were purchased at Hobby Lobby a few seasons ago. But I believe they still carry them.

The tins were lined with gingham waxed paper sheets that were found on Amazon.

Both hot tea and fresh squeezed lemonade was served.

I made individual teacup charcuterie with assorted meats, cheeses and veggies.
The bamboo skewers can be found HERE and the wooden forks HERE.

An easy way to romanticize your lemonade is to sprinkle in some edible flowers. These can generally be found at a specialty grocery stores or you can use edible dried flowers found HERE.

I hope this post has inspired you to share a meal with those you love. A similar tablescape can be created for breakfast with just a few tweaks such as serving orange juice and pastries.
Have a wonderful Valentine weekend!
