Hello sweet friends! Today is a holiday in America. We are celebrating our 249th Independence Day. Here’s to Friday Favorites Yankee Doodle.

Friday Favorites Yankee Doodle
This entire beach cottage home is full of red, white and blue charm.
Dorito Casserole
I’ve bought brats and plan on making baked beans and potato salad for lunch today. (Mr. Decor will be volunteering with the Coast Guard tonight.) So the kids and I will be enjoying this Dorito Casserole for dinner.
Cute Ways To Display Flowers
I love using baskets, tins and other inventive ideas to hold floral arrangements. This post has several fun ideas.
16th Century Charmer
This Dorset farmhouse has so many wonderful design ideas. This is a home I could definitely move right into!
No Sew Stars
I have some scraps of fabric that I will be transforming into these darling no sew stars.
All Things Laura
I just returned home from the National Jane Austen Festival. (You can see a few images and videos on my Instagram account.)
I now have my prairie garb packed and am headed to South Dakota. On Wednesday I am presenting Fashion in 1880’s DeSmet at LauraPalooza. The conference will be held July 8th-11th 2025, and organized by the Laura Ingalls Wilder Legacy and Research Association.
From there my prairiemobile will head to De Smet, South Dakota for the Prairie Homecoming celebration July 11th – 13th. You can find more information HERE.
Once home, it will be full steam ahead with wedding plans, showers and more for my son and future daughter in laws special day.
I’ve laced up my running shoes!
Laura

Well, Laura, you have a full schedule. Your menu sounds great for today, and I know how much you enjoy anything to do with Little House on the Prairie. Blessings and have a great and happy fourth.
There are so many wonderful things here!
I love all of the blue home decor, it truly represents summer!
I especially am fond of the fabric holiday stars, and the floral table decor, the tins give it such a creative touch!
