Happy St. Patricks Day sweet friends! I am looking forward to spring now more than ever. I adore the hope that spring brings. A hope that the long winter is ending. A hope that flowers will bloom and new growth will occur. Here’s to more hope and sunshine as I share this Happy Spring Home Tour.
Happy Spring Home Tour
This lovely tour is organized by my wonderfully talented friend Marty of A Stroll Thru Life. If you are coming from Inspiration For Moms I am so glad that you are here. For those that this may be your first visit to Storybook Cottage may I say, “Welcome! I’m Laura and live in Texas where spring has already sprung.
The front entry was refreshed with happy spring flowers in shades of purple, white and yellow. This is to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the Women’s Right To Vote.
I love the soft color palette. It goes well with the front door.
A sweet tweet for the front door.
Make Way For Ducklings
In the entryway, I created a simple arrangement.
It features the fast, fun and frugal blooming branches I created a few weeks ago.
As well as two ducks that were purchased many years ago when I lived in Germany.
Dining Area
In the dining area, I kept the spring decor simple.
The centerpiece features easy to grow daffodil bulbs and flowers.
Right now we’re eating here quite a bit since the kitchen table is currently covered in college scholarship applications.
I still love the Best Nest place settings I made last year.
The sideboard got a bit of spring decor too.
The dining area is right next to the living room. It features all shades of blue and green.
I just shopped my home for various decor that fit the color palette.
A Spring Mantel
Similar elements were used on the mantel.
Nothing new was purchased.
I just love turquoise blue mason jars.
A few bunnies and nests are always a perfect pick for spring decor.
Master Bedroom
It’s been a few seasons since I last shared our master bedroom. Other than new carpet we haven’t done any big overhauls here.
Mr. Decor and I were married in the spring.
Our wedding colors were not blush and bashful. They were soft white and lavender.
Our floral arrangements featured lavender roses, my favorite!

Love what you’ve done for spring this year Laura! Did you change our the table in the entry? It seems different and I like it! I got a ton of beautiful ideas from each room but not sure what I’m going to do this year. I cannot find any of my Easter stuff nor am I going to the store! Ugh. Guess all I can do is look at blogs and cry. Time to call the Whaaaambulance. 🙁
