It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas here at Storybook Cottage. Today I am sharing Outdoor Christmas Decor To Adore with an evergreen entry.
Outdoor Christmas Decor To Adore
I am so happy to be joining the Christmas Porches and Door Decor hosted by Amber of Follow The Yellow Brick Home. If you are coming over from Our Southern Home I am so happy you’re here! Christy’s porch is truly inspiring!
We have a fairly small entry but I love to make it feel as welcoming as possible.
The sweet little bench Mr. Decor made makes a perfect perch for seasonal bits of bliss.
Since the entry is not fully covered I have to make sure everything can withstand rain or snow.
The elements are a bit eclectic but somehow seem to work.
An antique German sled is joined by some brown paper packages tied up with strings.
Two mismatched greenery swags were wired together and topped with some brass bells and a bow.
I found the two sets of bells last year on an after Christmas clearance. The second set of bells merrily jingle every time the door opens. (And an angel gets their wings!)
Of course, the real magic happens in the evening when everything is all lit up.
I am so glad that you stopped by. Up next is A Daily Cup Of Mrs. Olson. The talented Jann always creates the most amazing displays and projects.
Do you decorate the outside of your home too?

Your front door looks so pretty and inviting! The soft green of the door with the deep green of all the greenery and white blossoms is perfect. How sweet is the little sled and the brown paper packages. The little snowflakes and pinecones are lovely accents.
Everyone arriving on your doorstep will enjoy this lovely display. Perfect!

Laura,
Your porch may be small, but is filled with beautiful Christmas decor. And, I spotted a white wooden snowflake that I recognize. 🙂 It goes very well with all your other snowflakes mixed in your garland. The paperwhites add a nice bright spot of white to the greens. Of course, I started hearing Julie Andrews singing Some of My Favorite Things when I read, “brown paper packages tied up with strings.”
Merry Christmas, dear friend,
Judith

Your porch looks so pretty! I love your paperwhites and all of the snowflakes and pine cones that you used. Your front door is very inviting to guests and if I lived near you, I would crane my neck to see all of the details as I walked or drove by your home.
