Friday Freebie Cupcake Pedestals

I have accomplished so much during my blogging sabbatical. I have quite a few projects in the works which I will be sharing with you in the upcoming weeks. Recently, I found some sweet vintage treasures at the thrift shop that I repurposed.ย Friday Freebie Cupcake Pedestals.

Friday Freebie Cupcake Pedestals

ย Here are just some of the vintage plates and cake servers that are now for sale in my Etsy shop.ย Through the next week, I will donate 10% of all of my Etsy sales to the American Red Cross Haiti Relief Fund.

Friday Freebie Cupcake Pedestals

Now onto Friday Freebie. Please visit my Etsy shop and come back and leave a comment if anything captured your fancy. The Random Number Generator will select a winner next Friday.

UPDATE: The Random Number Generator has selected Margaret of The French Bear. Margaret will get her hearts desire for a hand painted fruit plate with a sterling silver knife.

Blissfully blessed,

Laura

Good Morning Laura, I enjoyed watching the video and seeing all the lovely creations for cupcakes. Did you ever make a cupcake pedestal with the 1950 hand painted milk glass plate and vase that belonged to my mom? I have also seen little miniature Bundt cake molds that would be cute on the small pedestals. I like your addition of the silver.

Hi, sorry I have not been around much. Hope you are well. I like the cupcake plate with the sweet little unique spoon that can have the vintage party tage with it. reminds me of the perfect little adornment to a little girl's tea party. Need to have one of those with my daughter one of these days. ๐Ÿ™‚ Thinking of you…

Hello Laura, I just loved your sweet video and all the ideas you came up with. I also in the past have married the saucers with candleholders for such a beautiful pedestal. Maybe a great idea for a bloggers get together would to be to go to flea markets or second hand shops. I loved all that you did here, thanks so much and now I am off to your etsy shop, Char

    Laura,
You are such a sweet, amazing person – the video is darling and informative and I sat here watching, thinking “How do you find time for all of this with everything else you have going on???” :O

Anyway, you are inspiring. All of the items in your Etsy store are adorable, but I'm partial to the silver cake servers, mainly because as much as I love dishes and such, I just don't have the place in our small home to display or store. Hey, if you're ever looking for a blog subject idea – I'd love to see some suggestions on how to display various plates, platters, etc. I have only our dining room table and a small buffet. No hutch, no shelving, etc.

Hope you have a blessed week,
    Linda ๐Ÿ™‚

I love the cup cake plate. Perfect for a tea party. I bought the cake server. At our very first party in our new home, afterwards mine went missing. Maybe thrown out with the trash? I felt so bad, I had found it at a garage sale and bought it for one dollar. I was happy to find one to replace it. Thanks.

Love the seam binding and rick rack, too. Just what I need to tidy up. Off to check out the one I was looking for.
