Hey Chicken!

I’ve always adored chickens. We had a chicken coop when we lived on Crete in 1998. It made me laugh how much they loved to eat watermelon. You can see some breathtakingly beautiful breeds HERE. My favorites are #1, 2, 4, 7, and 14.

Jadeite and Lanterns

I have an area in my backyard where some lovely lanterns could be strung up. I’m going to peruse thrift stores and estate sales to see what I can find and possibly spray paint to recreate this sweet scene before summer’s over.

It’s supposed to be boiling hot this weekend. Sunday afternoon will have me out on the lake so I want to minimize exposure to the sun the rest of the time. I loved this compilation of 7 British TV series to binge-watch.  I’ve seen A Place To Call Home and The Paradise and the others sound equally good. I think I’ll start with Our Zoo as it only has 6 episodes.
