I spent yesterday unpacking my suitcase and catching up on sleep. I was absolutely exhausted from helping my friend pack up, deep clean and move out of the home she has been living in for 11 years. This was followed by a harrowing drive to her new town where we unloaded and deep cleaned the home she will now be living in. But today I am ready for Saturday Smiles Touches of Romance.
Saturday Smiles Touches of Romance
My home has been absolutely bare since putting away all of the Christmas decorations. While we are still working on house repairs from a massive hot water leak I find myself wanting to add a touch of pretty. I have some similar dishes that I will be taking out of the sideboard later today. They might add a perfect touch of romance in the dining room.
I think I’ll decorate the fireplace mantle first. Wouldn’t these lovely oversized paper roses make a wonderful focal point? Anyone else thinking of the Marie Osmond song at this moment?
I love the idea for a Galentine themed brunch. While I will be getting together with my blogger friends later this week, I think this idea could easily work for families too.
Aren’t the soft colors used on this free love themed free printable pretty?
May your weekend be filled with love and romance,
Laura
