A Truly Romantic Home

A few eagle-eyed readers recently asked me about this house, A Truly Romantic Home.

A Truly Romantic Home

A Truly Romantic Home

It is featured in the current issue of Romantic Homes magazine.

Romantic Homes Magazine

They wondered if it was yours truly enjoying a beautiful May evening in France with Lorie and Rachel.

I still get giddy that I can reply β€œYes, it was.”

Rachel is the blessed woman who owns this lovely home. She worked very, very hard to create such a blissful spot. What a wonderful Moroccan feast she created that night!

A Truly Romantic Home

Rachel conducts bike tours around Europe and beyond. She does not advertise, as her tours are full by word of mouth referrals. You can contact Rachel at rachelfoulkes@cs.com.

As for myself and dear friend Andrea, who penned the article, we cannot wait to get back to our beloved France. Our April flea market and cooking tour of the Bourgogne (Burgundy) region is already full, but a few later summer dates are still available.

I was admiring that pretty courtyard the new issue of Romantic Homes but now I will have to go back and reread this article. How exciting for you to not only have been there in the first place but to have the visit featured in such a lovely magazine!
I save all my Romantic Home and Victoria magazines and find they are so enjoyable to go back over and enjoy when I am having a blah day.

Just read your last post. I don't know what it's about but I do know a little about suffering and sorrow. My heart and prayers go out to you. May you feel new strength today.
    Hugs,

    Laura,

I know I've been having on going internet issues since mid January but how did I miss the tour schedules?
The home is enchanting and looks as though it was plucked right out of a fairy tale — complete with The Duchess of Decor! πŸ™‚
