Leaving D.C. we headed to Philadelphia to visit my cousin E., his wife Sweet T, Nene and Miss M. This is always great fun as they live in a 115 year old house and have a backyard that backs up to the forest.
Oh don’t you just love this statue? I think he may be magic.
Perhaps he is the secret to the stunning lilies.
Or the beautiful blooming pots…
…and bright pops of color.
But then again, it may be the wise old gnome.
Inside happiness can be found in the form of Mr. Keats…
…Pearlie Mae…
…and Bubbee the mean. (Actually this pocket sized man is Sweet Boy’s favorite.)
Holding it all together is the angelic Nene. (See her halo?)
While visiting we enjoyed a bit of down time, lovely meals and a quick spin around the neighborhood.
Sweet boy really loved that!
Everyone in this family is a winner in my book.
The best part about this family is they like everything we like. When we see stores that make our heart beat faster there is no hesitation to pull over.

We found Pan’s older brother.
He has a face only a mother can love. Pan that is.

I really wanted to rescue this ole girl from the basement. Can you see her reupholstered? Someone go get her. She was $200~ a steal.
