This past week two of my dear friends, Dartanyan and Dixie, have spent several hours of their time in helping me with various 18th century sewing tasks such as setting sleeves which is definitely a two person job. I am so thankful for their kindness. 

On National First Ladies Day (April 25th) I will be presenting a historical fashion show What Martha Washington Might Have Worn in celebration of National First Ladies Day and the 250th anniversary of America at the Missouri Cherry Blossom Festival.
