Every month a fabulous four day shopping event begins on the third Thursday in Phoenix.
Sweet Salvage features various vendors who create amazing booths filled to the brim with beautiful vignettes of treasures collected from near and far.
Each month there is an entirely fresh and new design theme.
September’s offering was “French Market” and it did not disappoint.
I spied the lovely lantern on the left right away. If it had been electric it would have gone right home with me. (Mr. Décor is now breathing a sigh of relief. 🙂
There was something for every Francophile including classic French options.
As well as rustic treasures for country French lovers.
This mid century chandelier received a festive update with the addition of a polka dot cord cover.
An outdoor garden area with lovely statues, gorgeous flora and fabulous fauna is a must see.
But my absolute must see was catching up with my sweet friend Brooke. Mrs. Giannetti, of Velvet and Linen fame, was in town for a one day signing of her book Patina Style.
Brooke and her husband Steve penned this beautiful literary design gem together. I have to tell you that I am a hard sell for design books. There are so many now published that it truly takes a stunning tomb to impress me. But you will not be disappointed to add this gorgeous body of work to your own personal library.
Our lovely mutual friend Joni, from Cote De Texas, is currently offering an unbelievable giveaway of a beautiful work of art by Steve Giannetti. I myself love the Water Series 68. (It was a very good year. 🙂
I have turned the comments off here so that you may instead visit Brooke’s blog Velvet and Linen as well as enter Joni’s giveaway at Cote De Texas.
May you be blessed with beauty,
Laura
