It is hard to believe that next month will mark my 1oth year of blogging. In those ten years, I have created several Valentine decorating ideas. Here is a lovely roundup of Romantic Decor Ideas For The Home.
Romantic Decor Ideas For The Home
A French Country Inspired Valentine Tablescape
The French love natural elements in their table settings as well as copious amounts of red.
A Rose By Any Other Name Centerpiece
Jumping on the ombre bandwagon I created a romantic centerpiece using grocery store roses.
Romantic Antique Lace Napkin Rings
Small pieces of scrap linen and lace were transformed into lovely napkin rings.
A Romantic Jane Austen Inspired Mantel
Thrift store books and figurines paired with free printable created this lovely ode to Jane.
Let My Love Open The Door Valentine Wreath
This wreath took a few attempts to get right but became a reader favorite.
Love Letters, Pearls, and Ribbon
A small romantic vignette can add a bit of romance to a tabletop.
Victorian Valentine Tablescape
Lovely touches of red and the Victorian practice of the language of flowers is offered.
A truly pretty way to welcome guests.
DIY Victorian-Inspired Lace Table Runner
Scraps of lace and ribbon transform an old linen runner.
Inexpensive and Easy Valentine Decor
Make your own Valentine napkins and favors.
Creating Pretty Place Cards for a Valentine Table
I do believe that love lives in little details like these romantic place cards.
Keys were sweetly corraled in this thrift store find.
Cute As A Button Valentine Mantle and Garland
Dollar Store items paired with a few thrift store vases added a sweet touch of love to this space.
This post is full of history, recipe, centerpiece, and favor ideas.
Will you be adding a few romantic touches to your home?

Love all of these pretty ideas! That button garland really caught my eye and could be used year-round. I had my Valentine decorations up just after New Year’s Day haha! I probably have almost as many of those as I do Christmas decorations! I love it because the house looks so bare after Christmas and being it’s the dead of winter, the pops of color inside and on the front porch make it so much more festive and happy.

Beautiful ideas, Laura. 🙂
Yes, I added some Valentine’s decor over the weekend as I normally decorate about a month out of any holiday.

I won’t be adding much in the way of Valentine decor, maybe a table setting and that’s it. I sure love that runner you made last year, and those napkins rings!!

So many pretty posts of your sweet Valentine’s decorations. (And I think I remember reading most of them over the years.) You have such a lovely way of putting your ornaments and trims together to make your home look perfect for each occasion or holiday. I have some pretty pieces I would love to get out for Valentine’s but since we are undergoing renovations…again…and our dining room is a bit of a disaster area, it probably won’t happen. Doesn’t mean I won’t put some of them out even after the 14th. (I still have a few Christmas decorations sprinkled here and there) Holidays tend to forget to leave our home after their day. lol
Thank you for sharing all the sweet Valentine memories! 🙂

I am forwarding this to my sister in Florida whom I think would like the metal or cast iron mailbox idea for her front door. It can be hard to find wreaths for Florida doors that aren’t too cutesy and she doesn’t have the time to make them, but I bet she’d like the idea of having something should could fill with silk flowers, etc. There are so many floral things that can be found on walks, etc. All that moss for one thing! Thanks, Laura. It is really an accomplishment to be 10 years at creativity and then to be able to look back at it.

Pretty ideas, Laura, some of which I recognize from years past. Pink is such a soft colour, and I love using it in February. You’ve got me inspired.

Such a lovely collection of romantic decor ideas. I particularly love the lace napkin rings. I have a bunch of doilies and tatting that my grandmother made. They are just sitting in a drawer. I love the idea of making something pretty with them that I could use. Thanks for sharing your wonderful Valentine’s Day ideas with us on Share Your Style!

Laura,
I so enjoyed this post because it is so my style and filled with so much eye candy!! Thanks so much for sharing a bit of romantic style and not being influenced by the farmhouse style that is so popular. I admire it in others homes but it is not my style.
Hugs,
Deb

You are the best at pulling together sweet vintage things into even sweeter vignettes. I adore the lace table runner with the teapot and flowers, and also the teacups atop the stack of books.
Warm hugs,
