After the winter pom-pom wreath took me like 300 hours to make I wanted something quick and easy for the front door this spring. As you know I also really love inexpensive creations. This wreath hit it out of the ballpark on both counts. Here is how I made A $7 Springtime Wreath Made In Under 30 Minutes.
A $7 Springtime Wreath Made In Under 30 Minutes
I began with a wire frame I purchased at Joann’s for 50% off. The burlap garland was found at Michael’s and I used a 40% coupon. The total for the two items was $5.00.
It is best to do this project outside as burlap can be a bit messy. Simply make a loop with the burlap ribbon and push it under and up through the wire ring.
I went back and forth across all three rows. Scrunching the loops together to get the desired fullness.
The entire roll of burlap ribbon was used to get this effect. Some faux willow was added that I purchased at Hobby Lobby. The stem was $3.99 at 50% off. It was hot glued onto the burlap.
I had the bird’s nest and quail eggs on hand. But you can find them at any craft store. A few of the branches of the willow were woven into the nest to make it blend better. The simple green wire holds the underside of the nest onto the wire wreath form.
Don’t worry, you can’t see any of the wire wreath form even from the side.
Tomorrow I will share what is on my front porch.

Easy project? YES! But it looks lovely because you embellished it so well! The simple touch done on one side was just right!

This has every element that I love. It's really pretty, seasonal but unique, inexpensive, and I think easy. I say that because I haven't tried to copy yet.
Oh, but I bet I will…
Laura,
Your wreath is the perfect dressing for any door! I like the juxtaposition of the burlap and the delicate faux flowers. Simplistic spring beauty!

I love it, Laura! Such a great look and not too flowery. Love the nest addition. It reminds me a little of the picture frame wreath I did for my front door. I wound up using that same burlap garland.

You are incredibly creative to produce this stunning wreath. It would suit our front door perfectly.
Bisous.
So great, might try a version for summer!
Who would have thought that a burlap ribbon could look so elegant? 🙂 I had sooo much trouble working with a green sparkly version of that to make a simple bow, but I love how you used it in this project. Maybe I'll give the green sparkly stuff another change in a different incarnation!
Absolutely gorgeous!
I love your wreath! I could see this in my house!
I am your newest follower.

I have been wanting to make a burlap wreath, and now I am encouraged because I've seen how you made yours so beautiful. Thank you!
I adore this wreath….and love the fact that you don't have to cut the burlap and have those strings all over the place. It's gorgeous!!!
This is an adorable wreath, Laura! I really like the color of your burlap.
Wow, I know last week in Phoenix was bazaar, weather-wise. I thought our garden was going to get washed away! We actually lost a little cucumber to that one night cold-snap. Absolutely gorgeous this week. Wouldn't it be great if it stayed this way ALL summer….lol?

Hi Laura, I'm visiting from 320*Sycamore. I love your wreath It's pretty and clever.
Also, your beautiful header caught my eye. I love your “It's Spring” sign. Is that in the public domain? I'd love to print out a copy of that and put it on my picture ledge!
